AYSE'S BIO An A+ Agent of Change
Ayse Indemaio is a financial risk management professional from the energy industry, turned stay-at-home mom. During covid she became concerned when she saw what her children were learning, and decided to take a deep look at curriculum and practices in Cy-Fair ISD. For the last 2.5 years, she raised awareness of her deep dive analysis and had success in finding solutions by:
- Speaking at monthly school board meetings
- Initiating legislation with Texas lawmakers
- Meeting with Crime Stoppers
- Created a website, TexasMessengers.com, that gives details of her analysis.
In addition to volunteering countless hours doing the above, she has been a parent volunteer in Cy-Fair ISD since 2017 and a Girl Scout troop leader since 2020.
As a married mother of 3 children enrolled in Cy-Fair ISD, she believes parents want to know their children are not only physically safe, but safe from the harms of the internet and controversial ideologies taught at school.
WHAT SHE HAS ACCOMPLISHED ALREADY
- Proved the No Place for Hate Program socially shamed children, was divisive, and of questionable sources.
- One of the first in America to expose data mining of our children at school, contributing to legislation (HB-18) protecting children's information and preseving parental control.
- Sounded the alarm about dark-web materials being accessible on school-issued Chromebooks. Cy-Fair ISD confirmed and worked with YouTube to change the search functions.
- Identified lessons written for elementary schools in CFISD that blurred the lines between biological sexes, resulting in having them changed.
